About NCCCLP
The future of the North Carolina Community College System is dependent upon the quality and diversity of its future leaders. The North Carolina Community College Leadership Program (NCCCLP) was created in 1989 to provide an interdisciplinary approach to leadership training through professional development. In today's climate of change, issues such as re-engineering, budget control, and collaborative approaches to problem solving offer would-be leaders new challenges. NCCCLP's seven-month program provides the ideal preparation and training for those eager to respond to today's challenges.
The North Carolina Community College Leadership Program originated under the auspices of the North Carolina Chapter of American Association of Women in Community Colleges.

Program Structure |
|
This seven-month program offers participants organized, face-to-face and computer-based learning experiences to acquaint them with community college issues and to help them develop leadership skills.
Participants work in teams to create an ideal community college. The program's structure is built on the platform that good leaders develop through an ongoing process of self-study, education, training, networking, and experience.
Participants will be required to have access to a computer from which they can log onto a Blackboard site.
