Since the program
started in 1988 more than 600 individuals have successfully completed the NCCCLP. Our graduates have become community college presidents, chief academic
officers, and vice-presidents. More importantly graduates have used the skills
and connections gained from the program to be more successful leaders in all
areas and at all levels in the North Carolina Community College System.
The purpose of the NCCCLP Alumni Association is to give graduates a resource
and opportunity to stay in contact with fellow graduates and renew their
leadership skills at the annual alumni retreat. Each year the leadership cycle
for the NCCCLP is renewed when a new Director-In-Training is selected. We
depend on our graduates to maintain this process.
In 2009 the NCCCLP will celebrate its 20th Anniversary. Planning for this
significant event has started. We need and value your suggestions and
participation. If you are interested in assisting with the 20th Anniversary
